Having spent many years travelling both nationally and internationally we experienced many different types of accommodation. We have taken the best of theses experiences and included them in our Grade 11 Listed Bed and Breakfast.
The Old Parsonage B&B was built in 1680 and is situated in the West Country at the centre of the 3 city triangle of Bath, Bristol and Wells off the A37 with access to the M5 and M4 motorways. The Old Parsonage was owned previously by The Duchy of Cornwall,( Prince Charles) and we have interesting pictures of both Edward Prince of Wales and King George VI (The Kings Speech) when they visited the house.
There is ample off road parking in our courtyard. All rooms have TV, Wi Fi , are en-suite and equipped with hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities. Ironing board is available. Two of the rooms have four poster beds.
All travellers are offered complimentary tea or coffee on arrival. Our coffee is roasted locally and there is a choice of teas. In the winter these can be enjoyed relaxing by the log fire or in the summer in the courtyard enjoying the sun.
Breakfast is available from 06:00 for the early birds and there is an excellent choice of full English breakfast along with lighter and healthy alternatives including fresh fruit, with a selection of teas and coffee. There are also vegetarian options. Breakfast is served on beautiful Wedgwood Devon Rose china.
There is a Country Club within a 2 minute drive that offers golf, gym and restaurant. Visit www.farringtongolfclub.net for further information and a pub within 2 minutes walk. See site-menu for further info.
